Union Finance Minister and BJP leader, Arun Jaitley has written a letter to PM Modi to request him to be kept free from any responsibility in the government so that he can concentrate on his health and treatment.
Jaitley wrote in his letter that the past five years were a great learning endeavor for him. FM said that the last eighteen months were however difficult for him with various health concerns.
Jaitley has requested the PM to not give him any responsibility in the new government which would allow him to focus on his treatment.
PM Modi and his cabinet will be administered oath on May 30 at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
